Strategies for reuse at all scales
A collaborative bid to transform a heritage George Street site into a multi-program hotel with exceptional sustainability credentials. In collaboration with architects Grimshaw and TKDA, Foolscap (interiors) and McGregor Coxall (landscape) we undertook a design strategy that focused on opportunities for material reuse across the site and integration of the heritage podium (led by TKDA), streetscape facades, rooftop terraces and related tower interfaces. Our work crossed between disciplines to understand and stretch opportunities for innovation, place design and material circularity.
